not only a danger to one life but two. From a religious standpoint we know that Jesus loves every one of us equally no matter what stage of life we are in. In the Bible it tells us that He forms us in our mother’s womb, making each of us unique. We have numerous testimonies of women who have had abortions. They completely regret having the abortion and still suffer trauma from their experience. Even Jane Roe in the infamous Roe V Wade case has openly regretted having the abortion and starting this inexhaustible war. The statistics cannot be overlooked. Over 1.5 million abortions occur in the United States every year. More than 95% of these are for birth control reasons. The woman and her mate could not handle the responsibility for their child. If not for their irresponsibility

in the first place then an innocent life could be spared. There are alternatives to abortion. The best is adoption. Over 200,000 couples are waiting to adopt a child each year but the availability of babies is less than 25,000. Releasing a child, unwanted by you, to an adoption agency you can save a life and make a couple’s dream come true. This was no one loses. This choice also teaches the mother responsibility because she has to carry her baby to full term. Abortion is not the only choice. This war over abortion has been waging over thirty years now. Both sides are tireless and fighting as furiously as they possibly can. One cannot help but be reminded of the anguished comment of a condemned Nazi judge, who said to an American judge after the Nuremberg trials, “ I never

knew it would come to this.” The American judge answered simply, “It came to this the first time you condemned an innocent life.”
